To your comment on obscurity, though - today is Valentine's Day. I thought I would hate this day forever. And you know what? I don't! I don't. Just like that, the horrible feeling is gone.
In it's place, I feel an overwhelming sense of love and gratitude - to my amazing daughter who was there when I needed it most, to my amazing and odd collection of friends who each welcomed a complete stranger in their midsts. How can I hate this day when I feel so lucky to be loved by such as these?
