Several people have said that 'Dancer in the Dark' was indeed Bjork's swan song so I think the outfit is quite fitting. She went completely off the rails (and not just in a fashion sense) after this.
Great movie though, and definitely one of Lars von Triers' most accessible movies.
It's, without doubt, the most famous dress ever to be worn at any award show in history. This may have been her inspiration. Ellen even wore the dress when presenting. I bet the dress would sell for a million dollars. Ridiculous? Yes. Brilliant? Probably. Scary? Absolutely.
